Talking Business: Lobbyists Discuss Impact of Bills During Bristol Event

BRISTOL — The Central Connecticut Chambers of Commerce hosted a panel of lobbyists from the Connecticut Business & Industry Association (CBIA) Thursday during its Legislative Breakfast at DoubleTree by Hilton. The speakers discussed bills which could impact local businesses this legislative session.

Katie D’Agostino, president and CEO of the Central Connecticut Chambers of Commerce welcomed the guest panelists, Wyatt Bosworth, associate counsel for CBIA, Paul Amarone, advocacy outreach manager with CBIA and Chris Davis, vice president of public policy with CBIA.

Michael Sweeney, vice chair of the Chamber’s Executive Committee, explained the CBIA is Connecticut’s largest business advocacy organization.
