BRISTOL — Setember 21, 2023 — A 133-year-old tradition will take place in just a few short weeks as the Central Connecticut Chambers of Commerce will gather members of the region together to honor and celebrate business excellence. The Chamber will hold its Annual Dinner on Oct. 26 at the new Bristol Event Center beginning at 5:30pm.

The 133rd Annual Dinner will honor Jaime Rechenberg and Larry Covino with the Special Recognition Award for their guidance and insight in helping getting BristolWORKS!, the region’s workforce development training center, off the ground; Computer Development Systems (Bristol), Jade LaBella-Athas (Burlington), Farmington Gardens (Farmington), M&T Enterprises (Plainville), Infinity Surfacing & Refinishing (Plymouth) and Advanced Physical Therapy (Wolcott) with Community Business Awards; former Central CT Chambers of Commerce president & CEO Cindy Bombard with the E. Bartlett Barnes Distinguished Service Award for her years of dedication to the region and growing its business climate; and Mott Corporation with the Distinguished Business of the Year Award.

“This is always such a special evening for the Chamber. The recognition is so well-deserved for each of the honorees, and we couldn’t be more thankful for having such amazing business leaders, like each of them, right here in the communities we serve,” Chamber President and CEO Katie D’Agostino said. “Our Chamber of Commerce is a powerful, united force that brings together businesses and individuals from various sectors to drive economic growth, foster innovation, and create opportunities for all. We are more than just an organization; we are a family of like-minded individuals working together for the common good. That unity is always on full display at the Annual Dinner.”

“It is a great honor and privilege to accept the award of Distinguished Business of the Year from the Central Connecticut Chambers of Commerce. This award is a testament to the hard work, dedication, and innovation of our team at Mott Corporation, who have been delivering high-quality products and services to our customers for over 60 years,” said Mott CEO Boris Levin. “We are proud to be a part of the Central Connecticut community, and we look forward to continuing our growth and success in the future. Thank you for this recognition and for your support.”
