Director of Capital Fund - Bristol Housing Authority

F/T – Graduate degree in Business Administration, Management, or Engineering preferred. Bachelor’s degree in Operations, Accounting, Finance, and/or Public/Business Administration is required. At least 5 years of progressively responsible experience in building construction procurement, contracting, and/or maintenance trades, or an equivalent combination of education and experience that provides the required knowledge and skills.

Dispatcher - Bristol Police Department
LOCATION: BRISTOL, CT
UP TO 10 POSITIONS
SUMMARY: To assemble a per diem workforce, receives and transmits emergency and administrative messages over combined Police, Fire, and emergency medical communications system. Routes all calls, dispatches personnel and equipment to scene. Must operate radio equipment, various computer programs, CAD and NCIC computer systems, and related equipment. Must communicate clearly, calmly and effectively under emergency situations and have excellent customer service skills.
WORK SCHEDULE / CLASSIFICATION: Shifts are 6 AM - 2 PM, 2 PM – 10 PM, 10 PM – 6 AM. Will work open shifts depending on operational needs. May work any shift that includes days, evenings, weekends and holidays. Non-benefited, at-will position. Note: Per diem Dispatchers must maintain required Certifications at their own expense.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: High School graduate or GED, prefer at least 1 year of relevant experience, education and experience may be substituted. Instructor, Manufacturing - BristolWORKS!

SUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Manufacturing Instructor (contracted position) will provide classroom instruction to adult participants looking to enter the Manufacturing field. The instructor will teach prescribed curriculum modules and topics as outlined in the course description to prepare participants to enter into employment and/or further learning opportunities in the Manufacturing field. The instructor will be required to complete and pass Certified Production Technician (CPT) Instructor training in order to teach this program. BristolWORKS! will pay for this training.
Essential Duties Include:
• Translate work experience into classroom learning.
• Instruct participants in the Certified Production Technician (CPT) curriculum.
• Teach in accordance with approved course description, learning outcomes, and schedule.
• Encourage discussion and share experiences to provide learning opportunities for participants.

Reviews costs and materials estimates. Investigates problems and complaints, and prepares design changes as needed. Prepares, analyzes, and reports in specialized engineering areas. - Leads the strategy and operational execution of the Business Banking Payoff/SBA Servicing department.
- Responsible for planning, organization, communication, and successful execution of the operational processes for Business Banking Payoff/ SBA Servicing activities in compliance with applicable laws, regulatory and investor guidelines. Business Banking Payoff/ SBA Servicing Department supports the payoffs, releases and reporting of Business Banking and SBA loans
- Organize and direct the daily activity in loan servicing including SBA loan guarantee program, UCC filings, searches, renewals and related collateral maintenance items; payoff and collateral releases
- Work with system providers to utilize applications to fullest capacity, streamlining processes and procedures, ensuring accuracy and compliance. Reporting to the Facility Manager and the Regional Safety Manager, the Safety Program Coordinator will have a varying range of responsibilities depending on the size and complexity of the plant, number of employees and projects assigned. The role will span strategic, tactical, and transformational safety and health management activities. As the Safety Program Coordinator, you will be responsible for overseeing regulatory compliance, training and implementation of Covanta’s safety policies, accident investigation and documentation, OSHA VPP efforts, and management of the other safety program initiatives (and Transfer Station’s DOT Driver’s Program, where it applies). In addition to managing the facility’s safety program, the Safety Program Coordinator will oversee the employee training program, and assist with the daily execution of the facility safety and health activities (Transfer Station, Public Unloading Facility and Upper Lot Recycle operation, when it applies).
