Event Description: Join us on Sunday, August 27th and learn what life in Bristol was like during the First World War! As you travel on our 60-minute, fully narrated, driving tour of Federal Hill and its surrounding area, learn about the city and its activities in support of the Great War. Hear stories about our local soldiers, how women supported the war effort, wartime production in our local industries, and what life was like on the home front. All Aboard for Home Sweet Home! Presented by the American Clock & Watch Museum, Bristol Federal Hill Association, and Bristol Historical Society. $25 per person Advanced reservations required. Bring a chair or blanket, pack a picnic, and enjoy a fun, free, community concert on the Green. Concert begins at 5PM.
