SCORE

SCORE® is a national volunteer organization serving as a Resource Partner for the U.S. Small Business Administration and financial institutions. SCORE® was founded in 1964 and there are now approximately 390 chapters with over 11,000 volunteers in all 50 states.

Bristol and the surrounding communities to the north and west are served by the Northwest Connecticut Chapter of SCORE with counselors ready to provide guidance and counseling to those starting in business and to those existing businesses needing key problem solving assistance. SCORE® has been counseling in the Greater Bristol Chambers of Commerce for over 20 years.

SCORE® counseling is FREE and CONFIDENTIAL!

Northwest Connecticut SCORE® also provides workshops and seminars for the community on various topics of local interest.

Counseling office hours at the Greater Bristol Chamber of Commerce are

FRIDAYS 9:00 AM until noon (or by appointment)

Initial appointments generally cover a review of the client's needs, many of which are resolved at that meeting. If follow-up meetings are warranted, either with the initial counselor or another with specific expertise, they are scheduled at the mutual convenience of the client and the counselor(s).
